【ARTIST RESIDENCY & NEW RELEASE】ALISS unveils “Far From” after an artist residency

From May 18th to 21st, 2026, ALISS (musician) and Ryo Sanogawa (visual artist) will take part in an artist residency supported by CROUS Clermont Auvergne.

During these four days, they will work intensively on developing ALISS’s live performance, combining music with a narrative visual projection. This residency will mark an important step toward a more immersive and cinematic form of her live show.

The residency will conclude with a free concert open to the public:

The following day, on May 22nd, 2026, ALISS will release her new track “Far From”, available on all streaming platforms.

As the 9th chapter of her album project Thread of Life, “Far From” will explore a more electronic direction, infused with a subtle sci-fi atmosphere. Expanding the sonic palette of the project, the track will open a new space—distant, introspective, and otherworldly.

From residency to release, these upcoming moments will reflect the ongoing evolution of ALISS’s artistic universe.
