The eighth track from the album ‘Thread of Life’. This song was not meant to be part of the album. Another piece, titled “Two Worlds”, already played in live performances, was supposed to take its place. But during the arrangement process, ALISS found herself composing an entirely new song instead. “Distance” was born from that moment to response "Two World".

【ARTIST RESIDENCY & NEW RELEASE】ALISS unveils “Far From” after an artist residency

From May 18th to 21st, 2026, ALISS (musician) and Ryo Sanogawa (visual artist) will take part in an artist residency supported by CROUS Clermont Auvergne. During these four days, they will work intensively on developing ALISS’s live performance, combining music with a narrative visual projection.
